What is a walk in shower?
A walk in shower is open ended shower areas, with glass panels (also known as wet room panels) positioned either on a shower tray or on a tiled wet room floor.
If the tray is fitted between two walls, one panel is used. If the tray is open at one end, a end panel is recommend. The glass is designed to help deflect water splash & help keep within the shower tray area. A 'flipper' panel is a piece of glass that hinges off the glass, again designed to help with water splash. The glass is stabilised with a wall bar which is fitted on top of the glass then attached to wall. See pics below...
